You can cancel an upcoming booking through your appointment history in the mobile application. Cancelling in advance releases the slot for other waiting patients. To reschedule, cancel the existing booking and select a new available session.

No. Healthcare consultations can be unpredictable; doctors may need extra time with complex cases or urgent medical emergencies. DOCFO ensures that waiting is transparent: once you check in at the clinic, you see exactly how many patients are ahead in line.

Arrival confirmation takes place at the physical clinic. When you arrive, either show your appointment code to the receptionist or scan the dynamic clinic check-in QR code displayed at the front counter. The clinic desk then confirms your arrival.

Queue tokens are activated strictly after your physical arrival is confirmed by the reception staff. This ensures that only patients actually present in the waiting room hold active positions in the physical queue.

"Now Serving" displays the token number of the patient currently inside the consultation room with the doctor. As each consultation finishes, the clinic advances the queue to the next waiting patient.

If you arrive after your scheduled session has ended or after all session patients have been called, the clinic reception may mark the appointment as a no-show or assign a walk-in token at their operational discretion.

Clinics can register via the Clinic Onboarding page (/clinic/register) by entering clinic details, locality, city, and contact details. Platform administrators review the registration and verify credentials before activating the account.

Yes. DOCFO supports role-based access control. The clinic primary account can invite and manage staff members with specific roles: Manager, Receptionist, or Nurse, ensuring staff only access features necessary for their daily tasks.

The Clinic Operations desk allows receptionists to register walk-in patients directly. The system interleaves walk-ins with pre-booked appointments so the physical waiting room operates smoothly.

Clinic managers configure weekly schedules for each affiliated doctor, defining session start times, end times, slot durations, and maximum patient capacities per session.

DOCFO enforces database Row-Level Security (RLS) and purpose-limited data processing. We do not sell user data, and clinic staff can only access patient information for consultations booked at their specific facility.

Users can submit an account and data deletion request through our Account Deletion page (/account-deletion). Once processed, personal account credentials are removed, subject to statutory medical and accounting retention mandates.
