Account Closure & Data Deletion Guidance
We respect your right to control your personal account. Learn how deletion requests are handled for patients and clinic operators in compliance with Indian healthcare record laws.
Under Indian law (including National Medical Commission guidelines, Clinical Establishments Act rules, and tax regulations), healthcare facilities and coordination intermediaries are required to preserve records of completed clinical consultations, billing invoices, and audit trails for a mandatory minimum retention period (typically 3 to 5 years). Account deletion deactivates your personal login credentials and anonymizes marketing identifiers, but statutory clinical records cannot be wiped immediately.

Account Disabling vs. Historical Logs
When an account is deleted, your authentication record (Supabase Auth UID) is deleted, terminating all active browser sessions and preventing future sign-ins.
However, historical appointment timestamps and queue entry references that form part of a clinic’s audit log are anonymized rather than deleted, ensuring that clinic daily consultation logs remain structurally sound for clinical accounting.
