DOCFO Accessibility Statement

We believe healthcare tools should be barrier-free. Learn about our commitments to digital accessibility across devices, screen readers, and motor abilities.

1. Our Accessibility Commitment

DOCFO is committed to ensuring that our digital experience—including provider discovery, booking flows, and live queue tracking—is accessible to people with diverse abilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA standards published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

2. Implemented Accessibility Measures

Keyboard Navigability

All interactive buttons, forms, and accordion panels are fully navigable using Tab, Enter, Space, and Escape keys.

High Contrast & Color Independence

Text meets or exceeds WCAG 4.5:1 contrast ratios. Status information (verified, pending, active) is never conveyed through color alone.

ARIA & Screen Reader Semantics

Semantic HTML5 landmarks (header, nav, main, footer, section) and ARIA attributes (aria-expanded, aria-controls) assist assistive tech users.

Touch Targets & Reduced Motion

Controls feature comfortable touch boundaries (minimum 44x44px). Respects system prefers-reduced-motion settings.

3. Technical Specifications

Accessibility of the DOCFO platform relies on HTML5, WAI-ARIA, CSS3, and JavaScript working interoperably with modern web browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox) and assistive technologies (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack).
